The best restaurant in Cologne on the right bank of the Rhine! Everything is consistent here, staff, ambience and the really excellent food.

Ordered a goose menu during Corona times. Absolutely delicious and recommendable. The red cabbage was a bit bland.

We spent our wedding anniversary there and were not disappointed: a very delicious 3-course menu, suitable wine recommendations and attentive service. There is also a UVC air filter that kills viruses directly, which is very pleasant for the feeling of security during corona. Nevertheless, the distance was always kept. The old school atmosphere is cozy with a nice selected decoration. The choice of dishes is changed every 2 weeks, so it doesn't get boring. We'll definitely be back at the next opportunity !!

It was delicious, but fell short of the expectations of recent years. The value for money is in my opinion not really correct.

The name deposited in Google maps "home-style restaurant" is rather inaccurate, but is initially rather a house with recommended and quite upscale cuisine. We were greeted on our first visit on a stiflingly warm day with exquisite friendliness and after seating asked if we would like to take a particularly cool aperitif, which we confirmed with ordering a glass of champagne. This was tempered exactly according to our wishes. In the meantime, further visits have completely convinced us that we are in good hands here. It is not necessary to order one of the menus by the table, at least not if you appear as a couple. So we could take a long trip through the culinary diversity of the map and were not disappointed. Especially recommended the gelled cold Pfifferlingsessenz as well as the fish dishes, but also the dessert area was wonderful. The service is very attentive and well coordinated in the cooperation, the price / performance ratio perfectly in the frame. With all the positives but in any case, the cleanliness, which left something to be desired, to be discussed. Everything with which the guest comes in direct contact, so the whole table or the toilets is perfectly fine, but the staircase to the toilets, which is very brightly lit or the entire dining room are extremely dusty, which you at closer views towards the sconces , Ceilings (cobwebs) or window niches quickly. A clear blemish on the business card.

We were there with the family and had preordered the goose menu. The greeting from the kitchen was a chestnut soup, which was really delicious. The salad fresh, the goose crunchy and tender, homemade Burgunderkraut and small dumplings as well as chestnut sauce. Everything fit together wonderfully. Even the dessert still fit because the size of the baked apple was perfect. The service was nice and attentive. We would like to thank you for a nice evening and come back again.

We are just stranded here for a short while on a bike ride on a cyclist. Nice little beer garden. The old half-timbered house was the former elementary school and has been lovingly restored. The menu promises good, so we'll be back for dinner.

Cozy restaurant/bistro (they have two different seating areas) with medium-high prices serving high quality dishes. Reservations are a must for the restaurant area. Portion sizes are small, but the pasta and other ingredients are fresh and made to order. The sauces were a bit under-seasoned for my taste, but prepared from scratch. The Flammkuchen was a hit - super crispy and delicious. The only negative (and a major one imo) was that my glass smelled very strongly of old wet and mildewy towels. The towel used to dry the glass must have been 'fermenting' for a while considering how much of that musk got stuck to the glass. Yuck!

We stopped there spontaneously during a bike tour and received a hospitable welcome. The service was very nice and extremely attentive, so we decided to have lunch there too. It was a good decision. Everything went very quickly and professionally and the schnitzel that we ordered was very tasty. The price of 10 € was really a bargain (Wednesdays is Schnitzel day). For my wife, however, the portions were a little too small. (We had been out for a while and hadn't had breakfast?). You should try the organic fruit juices, very tasty as a spritzer. (Unfortunately not that cheap). Since the weather was good, we could sit in the cozy beer garden and enjoy our break under shady trees. The sanitary facilities were clean and made a neat impression.
